Cycling World championships 2026 calendar🌈

It is once again that time of year when riders swap their team jerseys for their national jerseys and fight for the rainbow jerseys. 🌈
For the next year, the winners become instantly recognisable in every race with the iconic rainbow stripes,and for the elite champions, those rainbow cuffs become a permanent reminder of their world title for the rest of their careers.
In total, 12 individual world champions will be crowned across the men's and women's junior, U23 and elite categories, in both the time trials and road races. And that's not all, the Mixed Relay gives eight more riders the chance to pull a rainbow jersey over their heads and become world champions. So, there is plenty of racing to look forward to in the coming week. Let's take a closer look at what awaits.

The 2026 UCI Road World Championships will take place in Montréal, Canada 🇨🇦 meaning the races will be held in the Eastern Time Zone (ET). This means that for viewers in Europe, the racing will take place in the afternoon and evening.
